Just came back from Vancouver, Canada for a Starfield concert. The sad part was that we found out that the concert was canceled right when we got to the venue. We found out that the concert the night before, had their floors collapse and the lighting and sound system fall onto the audience. Talk about a freak accident.
The crazy thing is, is that we were planning to go to that exact same concert because it was so much closer to Seattle. We ended up choosing the next day, even though it was a further drive, because it was on a Saturday and we could take our time driving up.
Wow! I keep telling the kids, "Those injured youth, could've been us." Thank you Jesus. Hopefully everyone that was hurt will be ok.
Just a brief summary of what's been going on with myself lately.
I came back from Korea and started to pursue nursing. I applied last year to Arizona and a community college here in WA for nursing school. I got into both. I prayed mega crazy about which one to go for. It was a tough one, but I just called AZ to decline their program.
I can't really explain the exact thing that made me choose, because I thought about everything and every element that was good and bad about both schools/locations. I always ended up with an equal balance of pros/cons between both places.
Jesus has been doing some awesome things with me here in WA, which influenced my decision. I'm riding on a lot of faith and trust, though. haha So, I'll be here a little bit longer.
